Here's a NEW challenge in the Spring into 2018 Series: The St Paddy's Day Purgatory Virtual Run/Walk! Choose your distance - 5km, 10km or even a half marathon (13.1 miles); run, walk or cycle it between 1st and 31st of March and earn yourself an awesome St Paddy's Day medal.
There are six new races in the Spring in 2018 Series: they're all designed to offer you new challenges. Complete any four and you'll earn a fabulous bonus medal, too! It's your race, your way. Take part in your own time, at your own speed, at your own chosen location, any time between 1st and 31st March 2018. Send us an email when you've completed your distances, and we'll send you your fabulous finisher's medal along with a little bit of Irish Luck.

A virtual race is a race that can be run at any location. You can walk, cycle, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You do YOUR race at YOUR pace anywhere in the world.

It’s time to burn off all that festive excess, and sign up for these amazing events which runs throughout the Spring of 2018. YOU pick the time, the date, the place and the route - you don't even have to do it all in one day. Take as long as you like to complete the distance - it's your race, your way.
The Virtual Spring 2018 Series is suitable for all ages and abilities: it's also wheelchair and pram friendly!
Step 2: RACE IN YOUR OWN TIME
You can complete your virtual race anywhere at all: around your housing estate, at the gym on a treadmill or even with a group of running buddies – essentially you can compete anywhere in the world! Our races come with no time pressure – your pace is individual to you and you will earn your medal for completing whatever your speed. You don't even have to run: you can walk without any fear of people watching you. Each of the races have dates to complete, usually within a four-week time frame, allowing you as much flexibility as you need to complete your challenge.
Step 3: SUBMIT YOUR TIME
Email us your proof. We accept many forms of proof, as long as we can see you have completed the distance and the time it takes you, we’re happy. Examples include Garmin photos, app screenshots, fitbit stats, parkrun times etc.
Step 4: GET YOUR MEDAL
As soon as we've received you proof, we'll upload your results to our online league table so you can compete with like-minded runners. A few days later, you will receive your well-deserved bling in the post!
